Lwah Ndlunkulu vows to never do a Masakandi song or collaboration

South African singer Lwah Ndlunkulu says she will not be doing a Maskandi song or collaborate with artists who make Maskandi songs.

The singer made this decision following her collaboration with Manqele, on the song Paris.

Speaking on a maskandi podcast,Inqubeko News Channel, Lwah admits that the song is successful but she didn’t enjoy the success, rarer she suffered disrespect.

She was a victim of the beef between Mthandeni and Khuzani.

“To be honest, the song is successful and it is the first maskandi song to reach 9 million streams on Spotify and more than 13 million views on YouTube. But that has only brought me hatred and disrespect from maskandi fans who believe that I am favouring Mthandeni and that is not true. I won’t be doing any maskandi song or feature anytime soon because I prefer my peace,” she said.

“Fans are now following musicians rather than the music itself,” she said.

Lwah slammed the beef between the artists.

“The ongoing beef between them is killing the music industry. If people can just forget about unnecessary beef, this will bring back the glory days. All maskandi artists must stop beefing and start working together to put that music on the map like other music genres. To protect my music career, I think it will best not to do any maskandi song or feature anymore,” said the Ithuba hitmaker said.

Meanwhile, Big Zulu revealed months ago that he didn’t get a dime from the hit song, despite being Lwah’s boss
