Teacher found dead after hanging himself
A grade 12 teacher from Hyde Park Secondary School in Gauteng was found hanging in the sports field of the school on Wednesday morning.
The teacher was found by caretakers and was pronounced dead by paramedics who arrived the scene.
Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane expressed his sorrow over the incidents and sent condolences to the families of the deceased. Chiloane said that according to the information available, the educator was found hanging yesterday morning in the sports area of the school.
“Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident,” Chiloane said.
