Shimza and Black Coffee’s long term beef has ended
Black Coffee and Shimza have made peace following years of not being in good terms.
The cause of the beef is unknown, but Shimza revealed 5 years ago that his relationship with the international DJ is shaky.
“He never does that. I think it is because of the relationship we have. It is a bit shaky. He doesn’t book me for his stuff and they are trying to make it difficult for me to book him. He is a bit expensive, obviously. I appreciate that.”
“At some point I was, like, if the relationship is not working, then that is cool. Let’s meet and greet each other. I put in a lot of effort to try to reach out and find out what the problem is. When someone is like, ‘Dude, f*ck off’, I am like, ‘Cool. I have done my part’. At least you know I tried to mend stuff.”
Taking to Instagram on Monday, DJ Shimza reveals they’ve buried the hatchet as he shared cool photos of himself with Black Coffee at his 47th birthday ceremony.
Lady Du, Stilomagolide, DJ Bongz and many other expressed excitement at the reunion.
“Hope you guys have made peace and you are going to IBIZA brothehood,” a fan wrote.
“This is what I needed to see, now I know Kunye will be one of the best musical movement ever to initiated in Africa, Ultra is about to be the second best . So the magic gents,” another fan wrote.
