Boity is going back to church after 7 years
Boity Thulo announced she will be going to church this Sunday.
The South African rapper asked for advice from Twitter users as this is will be her first time in church after 7 years.
“Going to church tomorrow, voluntarily for the first time in 7 years (here’s a space for those who are going to judge me…please spill freely)..to the rest, what should I wear?”she wrote.
In 2018, the businesswoman announced that she had become a sangoma.
“They Called. I Answered. The Proudest‚ most Incredible day of my life. A Beautiful Gift that I will never take for granted. #ThokozaGogo #KgosigadiDabulamanzi #Blessed #OwnYourThrone‚” she wrote years ago.
However, she was not a practicing traditional healer.
“I am a sangoma but I haven’t been physically practising, it’s not a part of my journey as yet. How it works with ancestors is that they need you to sit down and start the work of consulting and that’s the path that they put you on then it will come,” she revealed in an interview to TshishaLIVE in 2021.
