Jackie Phamotse has been sentenced to house arrest for two years for making defamatory comments about Basetsana and her husband, Romeo Kumalo.
The sentencing comes with a fine of R30 000, or 10 months in prison.
She will also have to do 16 hours of community service a month and participate in various programmes.
Jackie was found guilty of defaming Basetsana and Romeo Kumalo, crimen injuria and contempt of court.
The sentencing is took place at the Randburg Magistrates Court.
Meanwhile, weeks ago, Basetsana revealed how Jackie’s false allegations ruined and affected her family’s lives and the brand they’ve built for years.
