Lady Du empathises with Rema who was embarrassed on stage while performing at the 2024 Dreamville Festival in North Carolina.
The Nigerian singer walked off the stage during his performance due to sound issues.
A video revealing how Rema expressed his dissatisfaction with the sound quality has gone viral on social media.
“Hold on, there are too many sound issues. it is messing up my whole performance I am seriously not feeling this sh*t at all,” he said
“It is too messed up. I am representing Africa, this is too messed up. If the sound cannot be perfect for every artiste that gets on this stage… Africa is in the house and you are messing sh*t up? I will walk out this stage bruh, fix it!”
Taking to Instagram, the South African music star said she is hurt by the incident and showed love to Rema.
“The most painful thing I’ve seen all year, the fact that the mic was fine when he spoke and they turned it down right after 💔💔💔💔💔 when will these games stop, I’m sooo hurt on his behalf bathong 😭😭😭😭 the most sweetest human being @heisrema sorry bro,” Lady Du wrote.
