Moses Tembe speaks 3-years after his daughter Anele’s death
Moses Tembe was officially interviewed for the first time since the death of her daughter, Anele Nelli Tembe.
The 22-year-old died after falling from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town.
Anele was dating the late Kiernan AKA Forbes, and they were both in the hotel when the heartbreaking incident occurred.
“In the first-ever wide-ranging exclusive interview, Moses Tembe the father of late AKA’s fiance, the late Anele Tembe, speaks to me on the 3rd anniversary of his daughter’s death and the long wait for answers on how her body came to be found on the ground from the 10th floor of a Cape Town hotel,” the host of the interview, Chriselda Lewis said.
The host summarised some of the points Moses stated during the interview, which was that the Tembe family wanted AKA in the court box as either a witness or suspects.
- “We wanted Kiernan (AKA) in the box as either a witness or suspect”
- ‘I object to anyone saying Kiernan killed our daughter. The evidence at the inquest into her death will tell us exactly what happened.’
- ‘Our hearts are shattered and gutted’
- ‘To see my daughter on TV covered in foil was traumatic’
- ‘At the time I knew she wouldn’t strip naked and throw herself down’
- ‘ At the time we expected a prosecution’
- ‘ Police never approached him regarding AKA’s death’ And blames the NPA in the Western Cape for delay in the resumption of the inquest into Anele’s death.
