South African singer and songwriter Thandiswa Mazwai remembers her late mother on her 32nd death anniversary.
The star claimed that the memory she has of her mother is gradually fading, but she’s being intentional about celebrating her.
Thandiswa shared her late mom’s photo and gushed over her beauty.
“My mother died on this day in 1992. The memory continues to fade. They used to say I laughed like her. No one says that anymore. Sometimes I hardly recognize the face only that I know this is my mother. What a beautiful ancestor. She has always felt to me like a tree. Sturdy with shade for when things get hot.Mama,” the singer captioned post.
