Zola 7 surprised on his 47th birthday
Bonginkosi Zola Dlamini, famously known as Zola 7 celebrates his 47th birthday some days ago.
The musician shared a video of himself and captioned with, “Today I celebrate life 47 years of GOD’S grace. 4 years ago, I was not sure that I will see another day but here I am still standing. I’m proof that only GOD decides about your life not other people. Happy birthday to me ngiyabonga baba. HOLA7.”
However, he wasn’t aware of the bigger celebration on the way as friends organised a surprise birthday celebration for the rapper.
Taking to Instagram, DJ Sbu gave people a peek into the event.
“Yesterday I took my daughter to go Celebrate her legendary Uncle @Official_Zola7 ‘s Surprise 47th Birthday & we had a great time. When you Google Top 10 South African Kwaito Artists Of All Time his name comes up at No.1. This Grootman raised us & to this day he remains my favorite role model. He’s helped thousands of people in his career. Educated youth, built swimming pools in the hood, built libraries, houses, community centre’s and inspired millions,” Sbu wrote.
“Thank you for everything Grootman we love you and we appreciate you. May God continue to keep you for us. Siyabonga bhut’Omdala,” the DJ added.
It’s good to see Zola 7 receive is flowers while he is very much alive.
