Mthunzi won four awards at the Metro FM Music Awards, alongside a R300 000 win with Kabza De Small.
The 18th Metro FM Music Awards took place in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.
Kabza and Mthunzi won Best Produced Album, Best Collaboration, Best Amapiano, and Song of the Year.
Taking to social media, the singer appreciated Kabza De Small, his team, and people who supported him.
“I thought i was dreaming 🥺🙆🏻♂️, but am seeing my dreams becoming a reality. Thank you for the love. Thank you to Metro fm, it is indeed #blacktothefuture, a big thank you to The King Of Amapiano himself @kabelomotha_ “am putting you on a challenge” these were his words,” he wrote.
