“Scandal” drops Matthews Rantsoma
Safta-nominated actor Matthews Rantsoma who plays Nhlamulo Maseko is reportedly leaving e.tv’s soapie, ‘Scandal!’.
Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reports announced the report about the actor on Twitter.
“Matthews Rantsoma dropped by Scandal!. The actor, who joined the e.tv soapie in 2021 will be leaving the show. Rantsoma plays Nhlamulo on the show,” he wrote.
Rantsoma joined the popular soapie in 2021 as Lindiwe’s (Nomvelo Makhanya) lover and a forex trader, Nhlamulo Maseko.
News of his exit from the soapie saddened most fans as he interpreted his role excellently.
“He is the face of Scandal…to think he started in 2021 mind blowing,” a Twitter user reacted.
“Awu that’s so sad,I really enjoyed watching him as Nhlamulo. Hopefully we will see him again on a different show,” another wrote.
“#etvScandal must just say if they want to close shop, the show is so boring now and they are pushing viewers to go for #SkeemSaam. They need to bring back Romeo and Xolile and still keep Nhlamulo. Also, we need a break from Dintle or NFH. They need to introduce another household.”
