Makhadzi breaks her silence following nomination for the BET Awards 2023.
The South African singer, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona joins other African stars like Tyla, Focalistic, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Tyler ICU on the list of nominees which was announced on Thursday.
The Ma Gear hitmaker was nominated in the Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act category.
Taking to social media, Makhadzi reminisced on the beginning of her music career and expressed gratitude.
She further prays to bring the win home.
“From selling cds 💿 in a street to BET. 😭❤️. Please help me celebrate my BET nomination for viewer’s choice: Best New International Act…. May God help us to bring it home,” she wrote.
