King Monada has refused to settle with the accusation levelled against him by the Limpopo Legends Awards.
The organisers of the award opened a case against the musician after he refused to attend the award ceremony in 2022 and 2023, despite he was paid R35,000.
According to TshishaLIVE, Monada is ready to defend himself in court.
“The defendant hereby gives notice of his intention to defend the above action and appoints the undersigned as his attorneys of record and will accept service of all documents and notices in this action at the address above.”
Limpopo Legends Awards organiser Mphoza Mashabela expresses disappointment in King Monada, however, he anticipates seeing the music star in court.
“What I like most is Monada will appear in court. The guy doesn’t respect my brand. He doesn’t want to pay me but has money to hire an attorney to defend his nonsense. I wonder what they will defend? He thinks he’s powerful. We are waiting for our court date,” he said.
