Babes Wodumo, real name Bongekile Simelane, has taken her reality show Uthando Lodumo off Shomax.
According to Zimoja, the Durban-based singer found a favourable streaming platform for a show.
The show was initially about her and her late husband Mampintsha, but the third season will focus on her life after his passing.
A source said Babes is happy about her move: “That’s the only reason she left Showmax. She was shopping for a better deal.”
Another source said the Wololo hitmaker will open up about her new relationship on the show:”Amapiano star Zuma who is said to be dating the Wololo singer and other artists will also form part of the show.”
“Babes will be talking about losing her husband at a young age and how she had to deal with grief.”
Babes Wodumo had a child with Mampintsha before his passing; the name of the boy is Nhlanhla Hlelolenkosi Maphumulo, famously known as Sponge.
