Sol Phenduka is saddened by the South African system, especially as the presidential election draws near.
The general election will be happening this week, but Sol revealed that he won’t be able to perform his duty as a citizen.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Sol shared a photo of the Home Affairs and said that he was unable to collect his ID as the collection system has been down since last week, hence he can’t vote.
“I’m at home affairs. One of the workers here has told me that their collections system has been down since last week. In a nutshell, people can’t collect IDs. Those who can afford a temporary ID and the photo that goes on it can utilise that option. The rest. Tough luck. Can’t vote,” he wrote.
The reality of what we go through as a people in this country.
