Tebogo Thobejani launched a foundation to people who are victims of cyberbullying.
The actress has been loud against online bullying, and she’s recently spoken against it using her social media account.
“It is crucial to educate the younger generation on accountability in the digital space,” she said to TshishaLIVE.
“Innocent individuals are often victimised and judged unfairly due to personal vendettas. At Botlhale Foundation we are committed to teaching children about the circumstances and will engage with government to advocate for stricter anti-bullying laws.”
In April she addressed the issue of online bullying and how it affects people.
Tebogo is also a victim of cyberbully, hence, she’s able to relate with other victims.
“It’s important to address something serious. While social media can be fun, it also has a dark side. It can lead to depression, tear families apart, and even result in violence.”
“Those who bully online often crave attention, but in reality, they have no right to judge others. It’s time to hold them accountable. It’s not easy, but I’m committed to making our streets safer. Together, we can ensure a better future for generations to come. Thank you for your support,” she wrote.
