Emtee, real name Mthembeni Ndevu ends his hate against the South African superstar Tyla.
In April, the rapper claimed on Twitter that the Grammy-award-winning artist lacks humility; this claim sparked beef rumors.
“I’m yet to see Tyla humble. Just once,” he wrote, took this Hollywood shit too far,” he added.
During a recent interview on Podcast and Chill, Emtee was asked to explain his tweet about the singer.
The Pearl Thusi hitmaker didn’t change his words, as he claimed he meant what he said about the Pop star despite never having a personal encounter with her.
Mac G and Sol Phenduka asked how he was able to conclude Tyla is a woman filled with pride.
Emtee replied by revealing that he saw her at the Mall of Africa with lots of security, which signifies that she has zero humility.
The hosts on the podcast laughed off the rap star’s claim and tried to explain that Tyla is a big star, hence she needed the security for her safety.
Emtee digested and understood the explanation; he took back his words and said he looks forward to collaborating with the Water hitmaker.
