Shebeshxt’s daughter, Onthatile was buried in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo, last week.
The musician bid his final goodbye to his child as he attended the funeral in a wheelchair.
“You left a huge void in our hearts. I don’t think we will ever recover from this,” he said.
“We might seem strong, but deep down we wish we could wake up from this terrible nightmare and see your beautiful face and hear your wonderful voice saying, ‘Ke rata batswadi baka ka pelo ka moka’ (I love my parents wholeheartedly).”
On 8 June, the South African singer was driving his car when it collided with a truck, which led to the fatal accident.
The accident happened on the R37 road next to Smelters Mine in Limpopo.
Shebeshxt was in the car with his daughter who passed away at the scene; his girlfriend, and another passenger.
