Gogo Maweni gives a glimpse of her traditional wedding
Makgotso Lee-Anne Mokopo, famously known as Gogo Maweni ties the knot in a traditional ceremony with her lover Sabelo Mgube.
The traditional healer had her Umembeso – a Zulu traditional ceremony that forms part of the lobola negotiations, where the groom gifts the bride’s family items such as blankets, money, and many other things before the wedding.
Taking to Instagram, Maweni shared photos and videos from the beautiful event, which launched her into a new chapter.
“Yesterday was definitely a day to remember ❤️ My family, in-laws, and friends Siyabonga,” she captioned the post.
Fans and followers flooded the posts with congratulatory messages to the mother-of-3.
