Rethabile still in the hospital
Rethabile Khumalo breaks her silence weeks after being poisoned by a friend.
Winnie, the mother of the singer disclosed weeks ago that her daughter was in a critical state due to poisoning.
She survived and returned home for recovery, however, a few days after being discharged she was admitted again.
While in the hospital, the star went Live on Instagram to bond with her fans.
Rethabile said her song, Ntyilo Ntyilo, featuring Master KG, has reached platinum status and her new songs Egalile and Islonda were also doing well on online streaming.
Winnie and Rethabile said they are yet to open a case against the friend who committed the hideous crime, as they are focused on the singer’s health.
“Rethabile thought she had friends, but no. This is the time when she will realise that she doesn’t have many friends but people who know her. This place (the hospital) has opened her eyes,” said Winnie.
