Prince Kaybee speaks about “Better Days” song
Prince Kaybee opens up on what motivated him to create his 2015 hit song Better Days.
A fan took to the X platform, formerly called Twitter to eulogise the musician for the song.
“@PrinceKaybee_SA you were on some Super saiyan energy when you made Better days ft Audrey, that song stood the test of time,” reads the tweet.
Kaybee replied with an explanation that the song came from a place of hunger and exhaustion.
“I was just hungry and fed up of the shit we did in the streets, I remember the last thing before that song we had just counted money from pirating a taxi, my friend and I had an illegal cab so some guy scammed us the car pretending to be a mechanic kanti he is in bed with the taxi association guys. So all that was another reminder that we will die if we carry on, then Better Days came,” he wrote.
