The family of the South African rapper Da L.E.S needs funds to settle the medical bills of their son who suffered a stroke in his home last week Friday.
The rap star is receiving treatment at a Johannesburg hospital, and the mother Priscilla Mampe will appreciate it if she gets financial assistance.
Da L.E.S close friend wrote a letter and sent to the rapper’s other friends to contribute money, which will be sent to Priscilla’s bank account.
“Hi Friends, as support to Leslie’s family while Les is in hospital, we are encouraging friends to assist in kind to Leslie’s mother’s account below,” reads the letter.
A friend revealed that the mother left U.S.A to SA to cater for his hospitalised son.
“She is not okay; I just want us to keep his family in her prayers. She is devastated,” the friend said.
On Monday, the family of the rapper released a statement to confirm the stroke, and asked for prayers.
“Whilst he is in a stable condition, this remains a challenging time for his loved ones and his family calls on the public to keep him in their thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult period,” reads the statement.
