Gayton not in support of Miss SA finalist Chidinma

Minister Gayton McKenzie frowns at Chidinma Adetshina’s participation in the Miss South Africa competition.

The Department of Sports, Culture, and Arts minister uses social media to voice out his decisions and opinions since he was appointed into the position.

Twitter influencer Chris Excel asked the minister to weigh in on the Miss SA finalist Chidinma’s saga, and he responded that he would investigate the issue, however, he is not in support of Nigerians participating in the competition.

“I just returned from Paris and will definitely get more information tomorrow, we truly cannot have Nigerians compete in our Miss SA competition. I wanna get all facts before I comment but it gives funny vibes already,” he wrote.

Gayton further shutdown a Twitter user who urged him to stop the cyberbullying on Chidinma.

“You want me to ignore people that voted for me ? You want me to ignore a legitimate question ? I will get the facts and return with an answer, this is not gossip, that video raises legitimate suspicion,” the minister wrote.
