Da L.E.S family advised to take the rapper to a public hospital instead of begging for money
Da L.E.S, real name Leslie Jonathan Mampe Jr. suffers backlash while being hospitalised.
The South African rapper tops the Twitter trend list with over 40,000 mentions due to his family’s need for donations.
Last week Friday, L.E.S suffered a stroke while at home and he’s admitted to a hospital in Johannesburg.
According to Zimoja, close friends of the rapper have written a letter to other friends, soliciting for financial help to settle his medical bills.
The report about the donations have taken over various social media platforms and a most users are not pleased with it.
While some drag the ill rapper, others mocked the situation.
“Da Les should just be transferred to a public hospital. His family asking us for donations when he was eating alone is mad disrespectful,” a Twitter user wrote.
