Chidinma Adetshina embraces being in her father’s land, Nigeria
Chidinma Adetshina hit some nerves following her arrival in Nigeria a few days ago.
The South African-born model is finally representing Taraba at the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant after her withdrawal from Miss South Africa 2024.
Upon arriving Nigerian airport, Chidinma was welcomed warmly.
In a video which surfaced on social media, the 23-year-old said she is excited to be in her father’s land after 20 years. She also revealed that her aim is to win Miss Universe Nigeria.
“I’m excited I’m in my father’s land and I want to get to experience more about it. It’s been 20 years since I’ve been here. I just want to get to know more about the culture and where I come from,” she said.
“My goal is obviously to win the crown of Miss Universe Nigeria, and I do have an impact that I want to share with everybody. As a woman who has obviously faced adversity, I want to use my story to bring people together,” Chidinma added.
