Chidinma Adetshina hints at not returning to South Africa after her departure to contest in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.
The model who was born in South Africa has spent over 20 years of her life there but was rejected to contest in Miss SA competition due to her father who is a Nigeria.
Chidinma withdrew from Miss SA to compete in Miss Universe Nigeria, and she has over 14,000 votes from both South Africans and Nigerians.
In a recent interview, the 23-year-old reportedly said she’s left SA for good.
“In a recent interview with a Nigerian radio station, Adetshina expressed that she has no intentions of returning to a country she once called home for 23 years. The Home Affairs investigation related to Adetshina’s case is still ongoing, and parliamentary officials have suggested that Adetshina’s mother may have been involved in identity theft,” reads the report.
That’s her homeland, we are glad she’s not coming back. She must teach her brothers and sisters the same. We are tired of them here in Mzansi pic.twitter.com/RQBWnz1Lu3
