Tbo Touch says buying car with cash is dumb
Tbo Touch bluntly spills out his thoughts about people who buy cars.
During a recent interview, the presenter slammed people who think buying cars is a great achievement, as he believes that the banks are the ones benefitting.
Tbo says he prefers to order an Uber, instead of buying a car, then brag about it.
“It is foolish to brag about cars when we all know that banks win in that transaction. Unless you buy it cash, which is the dumbest thing to do. We need to move away from bragging about cars,” he said,
Touch’s claim divided social media users, while some supported him, others invalidated his statement.
“Cash is for opportunities , use that cash to get some cash generating asset or activity and use the money you are making from that opportunity to pay your instalment within a shorter period . I agree with Tbo Touch,” a tweep wrote.
“Buying a car cash and buying a car via bank is no dumb thing, it all depends on your financial position,” another user wrote.
