DJ Cleo reacts to a recent interview with Sol Phenduka
DJ Cleo, real name Tlou Cleopas Monyepao has finally spoken out following his recent appearance on Podcast and Chill with co-hosts Mac G and Sol Phenduka.
Clips of the interview went viral, sparking backlash on social media as viewers criticized Sol for repeatedly interrupting Cleo.
“Am I the only one who finds Sol Phenduka annoying after the recent #podcastandchill episode with DJ Cleo? I genuinely have no conundrum with SOL, but it was irritating listening to him speak nonstop & not giving @DjCleo1 a chance! I understand why Dineo cut Sol, he’s too much,” one Twitter user shared.
“I had a crush on Sol before this episode. After the show? Not so sure no more,” another person added.
However, a few users defended Sol: “I wonder who’s paying y’all for these hate tweets against Sol… all I know is none of y’all are chillers, ’cause chillers know that’s how Sol is like. He’s genuinely opinionated and we like that about him.”
DJ Cleo subtly addressed the issue by sharing a video clip on Instagram, where international presenters constantly interrupt each other during a discussion—hinting at his frustration with Sol’s behavior on the podcast.
The post led to further criticism of Sol, with more fans siding with Cleo.
“I loved your maturity, your perspective on things, and how, when you felt like it wasn’t going anywhere, you paused, took a moment, and came back with a joke to lead into the next topic,” commented one follower.
