South African producer Makwa calls out Nota Baloyi due to unpaid royalties of Mayibabo.
The 2016 song by Kwesta features DJ Maphorisa, DJ Bucks, Itumeleng Bokaba, and Okmalumkoolkat.
Following Itumeleng’s revelation of being paid 59 cents for her feature on the song which sparked an uproar, Makwa set the record straight, stating that DJ Maphorisa has nothing to do with the unpaid royalties.
I produce music and people who were in the studio are getting royalties 😂😂
I’m going to samro to remove their names WTF!!

Nota Baloyi replied Makwa with insult and claimed it was not his fault that some people didn’t get paid.
“Ngizok’shaya wena… Ung’jwayela amasimba, go to SAMRO & fix whatever’s wrong. I’m not your publisher nor have I ever claimed to be. While you’re at it bring back my things before I open a case of theft against you snyefu!” Nota said.
