South African fast-rising star Usimamane recounts how he secured Sjava’s verse on Uvalo.
The single which topped charts and has everyone talking is off the rapper’s debut album, 20th: Days Before Maud.
Taking to social media, Usimamane shared screenshots of his chat with the music star.
He also revealed that it was a struggle to get Sjava on the album but be didn’t give up.
“This the first song I recorded on the album and the last song I finished on the album, I recorded it last year and getting Sjava to be part of it took me 11 months sometimes I’d be mad at him for not jumping on and I remember telling my mother that he doesn’t want to I was so mad that I almost gave up but I didn’t,” he wrote.
Usi further inspired people with the experience and appreciates Sjava for creating magic with him.
