“It broke my heart as we had big plans” – DJ Karri on Solly Moholo’s passing

 The South African DJ, whose real name is Karabo Success Mokgara spoke about how he met the gospel music legend.

“But he didn’t know I’m DJ Karri. When I started going viral with my mixes and DJing internationally, he took notice of me late last year,” he told TshishaLIVE.

“Solly saw a video of a homeless guy who sang beautifully and called me to meet the guy. He promised to take him to the studio to record songs with him, but unfortunately this tragedy happened.”

“It broke my heart as we had big plans. We come from the same place and we wanted to put our township on the map. I’ll keep the legacy going with his team and his children so we continue with the plans we were committed to do,” he added.
