Nkosazana Daughter, real name Nolwazi Nzama, has launched a R13 million defamation lawsuit against the presenters of the popular Podcast and Chill, Macgyver “Mac G” Mukwevho, Solomzi “Sol” Phenduka, and Duduzile Methula.
The lawsuit, filed last week in the Johannesburg High Court, stems from allegations made on the podcast in July regarding an alleged affair with Master KG and the paternity of her child.
Nkosazana Daughter, through her legal representatives, is seeking damages for the harm caused to her reputation and emotional well-being.
The R13 million lawsuit aims to address the public embarrassment and distress she has experienced due to Mac G’s comments.
Mac G trends on social media, as people weigh in on the issue.
Controversial Nota Baloyi wrote, “MacG is in serious trouble… He needs to negotiate an out of court settlement because no judge will have mercy on his business. He was asked to retract & was not only defiant but arrogant. I could refer him to the team that represented if he’s willing to put down a R300k deposit!”
“Lol so she lost R13M due to the statements made by MacG. I want to see her prove how she got to that amount in court,” another tweep wrote.
In which South African court-room will Nkosazana Daughter be able to prove that she lost R13 million due to MacG defaming her on PodcastandChill? Home girl, needs to chill. She might get an apology but drfinately nothing close to a milli’. Askies. https://t.co/MTOC55c25K
