DJ Kotin escapes death
DJ Kotin, real name Siyabonga Zikode is grateful for life after surviving a car accident.
The accident happened on a Saturday, when the DJ was travelling to a gig in Jozini, KwaZulu-Natal.
“I was driving on the N3 between Esikhawini and Mthunzini Plaza when a Quantum crashed into my VW Caravelle T5 and left my car with a puncture and dents. I’m lucky to be alive,” he told TshisaLIVE.
“I waited for a long time for a tow truck to come to my rescue. I hated myself because my job takes place at night where we need to drive long hours to make people dance to our music. Driving at night on bad roads is a problem. Now I’m left with arranging excess payment for insurance, which is money I don’t have.”
