Anele Mdoda slams minister Gayton McKenzie for defending his trip to the 2024 Olympics in France.
The Citizen reveals that the minister recently revealed in a parliamentary reply that his department incurred a total cost of R804,597.71 for his trip to Paris.
He took to Twitter to address the report.
“I attended six meetings in Paris before the start of the Olympics. I went to the athletic villa to greet our athletes, I attended opening ceremony and watch the hockey, gymnastic & sevens game. I opened Ekhaya village & watched the rest of the Olympic Games on TV. What joyride?” he explained.
Anele Mdoda who is known for being outspoken urged the minister to stop explaining.
“Dude. Stop answering. You don’t work for twitter,” she wrote.
However, social media users were not pleased with the broadcaster’s choice of words.
“Yeeer sies very disrespectful . “dude” tomorrow someone call you gap. Nywe Nywe Nywe block here and there with noise,” a tweep reacted to Anele’s tweet.
