One Twitter user joked, “2 minutes into the Crocs sale and everything is already sold out,” while another claimed, “Crocs pulled a Tshwanefontein on us,” referencing a past event with similar disappointment.
Many felt misled, with one user lamenting, “You guys sold out the R22 Crocs in 3 minutes,” and another adding, “Sold out in 5 seconds. That Crocs special was a scam.”
The outrage continued as users questioned whether anyone had actually managed to purchase a pair, with one asking, “Can someone who got those R22 Crocs please show us proof because there’s no way.”
Despite the frustration, the viral sale sparked debates around consumer demand and online sales fairness, with some dismissing the outrage, saying, “You guys are having a meltdown over Crocs? Financial indicator iyabonakala.”
