Kelly Khumalo expresses outrage over eNCA’s false death announcement.
Kelly Khumalo has expressed her frustration following eNCA’s erroneous announcement of her death instead of the late Winnie Khumalo.
The singer took to social media to share a video clip of the newscaster who mistakenly mentioned her name while delivering the news of Winnie Khumalo’s passing.
“@encanews you may hate me or even think very less of me, however, this is very reckless, ignorant, and disrespectful—not only to me but to those who love and care about me, especially my kids. PUT SOME RESPECT ON MY NAME,” she wrote.
While many sympathized with Kelly, some of her followers urged her to remain calm, noting that the newscaster had issued an apology and corrected the mistake.
