2. Sun exposure helps your skin with acne issues
Your sunscreen might be laughing on your dressing table after this statement as it is one of the most dangerous myths. Vitamin D from the sun might create wonders for your complexion if you wish to get a tanned tone, but it also can permanently damage your upper skin’s layer. You may feel your pimples are drying out under the sun and giving you a glow, but hey dear say hello to dehydrated skin and fried skin cells which result in drying up of the acne under the sunlight. This would further block your pores, trigger breakouts, and trap the oil as well.
3. Cheap skin care will cause hazardous effects
One of the most foolish beliefs of many girls which can also cause a fire breakout in your bank account is believing that cheap or reasonable products can cause dangerous effects on your skin which is false information. Just because a product is expensive, it does not always mean it is more effective, as understand that the brand’s reputation and packaging also come under the overpriced tag, which is more valuable to them rather than paying attention to all superior and active ingredients.
4. Apply sunscreen only in the daytime
It is a false statement as the UV rays can penetrate through clouds, overcast days, and also during nighttime in summer because of the harsh loo and winds. Regardless of the weather condition you should always step outside with sunscreen all over your body. If you’re sweating or swimming, then also wear sunscreen throughout the day. Also, it is not compulsory that the higher the SPF, the better the protection. It depends on the SPF number, and how often you apply the sunscreen.
5. More exfoliation can result in clear skin cells
Exfoliating your skin too much in a week or month can result in redness, and irritation, and can even lead to scarring. It is better to exfoliate with no more than once or twice a week exfoliation than to depending on your skin type. Also, always be gentle and avoid using harsh scrubs or tools that would disrupt the placement of your skin and cells. People having sensitive skin should follow the process once a week, whereas oily skin people can exfoliate twice a week.
