Gayton McKenzie recently voiced his concerns about the state of sports in South Africa during an interview with Robert Marawa on 947 Joburg.
In the discussion, McKenzie addressed the widespread belief that sports in the country, particularly cricket, are controlled by white administrators due to the low representation of black athletes.
However, the Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture clarified that this perception is inaccurate, stating that black individuals are in control but are being undermined by their own people.
McKenzie went on to criticize black administrators, holding them accountable for the lack of meaningful transformation in South African sports.
