Controversial YouTuber Musa Khawula struggles financially while facing the law over defamation; he reportedly needs R50 000 for his legal fees.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), the 33-year-old allegedly posted defamatory statements on his social media platform, which has a large following, between 10 and 12 October 2024, with the alleged intention of harming the dignity of businessman Zesimdumise Nxumalo.
South Africans have opened a crowdfunding page on Backabuddy to raise money for blogger Musa’s legal team.
However, the support to for the money raise has been poor; while some are willing to donate, a majority of others have turned blind eyes to Khawula’s case, hoping he spends more time behind bars.
