Former Mrs SA and her husband are separated
Former beauty queen, motivational speaker, and Mindful Living founder Hlengiwe Twala is reportedly separating from her husband of 20 years, Glenn Twala.
The couple, known for keeping their private lives out of the spotlight, has remained silent on the matter, but sources confirm that their names appeared on an unopposed Divorce Court Roll dated 15 November 2024.
A close friend revealed that while they are parting ways, they intend to handle the situation privately and amicably.
“They prefer to be civil and not make a spectacle of the situation, but it’s true,” the source shared, adding that life sometimes takes unexpected turns.
Hlengiwe gained national recognition when she was crowned Mrs South Africa in 2017 at Emperors Palace, with Olwethu Leshabane and Lilliana Lulli-Marruchi as runner-ups.
Representing South Africa at the Mrs World competition luncheon in South Korea, she became a well-respected figure.
Despite the circulating news, the couple has not commented on their reported split.
