Sizwe Dhlomo claps back at Elon Musk over Julius Malema’s controversial remarks
Sizwe Dhlomo has weighed in on Elon Musk’s reaction to a resurfaced video of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema, in which he made controversial remarks about white people in South Africa.
In the clip, Malema is heard saying, “We’re cutting the throat of whiteness. We will kill white women, children, and their pets.” The video recently gained traction online, prompting Musk to call out President Cyril Ramaphosa for allowing such statements.
“Why do you allow this, @CyrilRamaphosa? This is a major political party in the South African parliament and their leader is calling for genocide of white people,” Musk tweeted.
In response, Dhlomo dismissed Musk’s concerns, reminding him of South Africa’s political structure. “Allow it? Lol! We’re a constitutional democracy bro. It’s not like back when you used to live here,” the radio host fired back.
Musk, who was born in Pretoria, has frequently commented on South African affairs, often sparking debate.
