The Kiffness frowns at Chris Excel for impersonating Bianca Coster on X
The Kiffness raised concerns about Chris Excel’s X account, accusing its owner, Azola Christopher Thabane, of impersonating influencer Bianca Coster.
The musician took to X, formerly known as Twitter, stating, “One of South Africa’s biggest accounts @ChrisExcel102 is run by Azola Christopher Thabane – a man who hides behind the photo of a woman influencer, Bianca Coster. He hasn’t changed the photo despite knowing the crazy stuff he posts using her image has led her to therapy.”
Many online users have rallied behind the claims, expressing support for Coster and confirming that Chris Excel has been using her image without consent.
Podcaster Penuel also weighed in saying, “Thank you for raising awareness on this matter. What’s worse than what he’s doing is that many of his followers know this & don’t care that this lady has been deeply traumatized by this and even had income opportunities ruined by the account. We tweet amongst vile scum.”
In response, The Kiffness offered further support, stating, “That’s so sad. Sounds like a slam dunk defamation case. If she can show a lawyer proof of loss of potential income, she can get Azola to pay the damages. I’ll be the first to help crowdfund her lawyer’s fees if she wanted to pursue legal action.”
