Cassper Nyovest shuts down claims that he’s fallen off
Cassper Nyovest is not holding back after facing what he sees as disrespect toward his music career.
The South African rapper reacted strongly to a tweet that stated, “Music aside, Cassper Nyovest was a great role model when he was on top.”
Feeling slighted, Nyovest clapped back, questioning the implication that he’s no longer at the top.
“Where am I now, champ? The bottom? Lol… Music aside how, when THE MUSIC got ME here? It’s time y’all put some respect on my music!!! I’m not letting it slide no more!!!” he responded.
He went on to emphasize his longevity in the industry, saying:
“I’ve been dropping bangers for 12 years straight!!! I didn’t work this hard for people to talk like I sell business and not music. I make music FOR A LIVING. YOU KNOW ME BECAUSE OF MY MUSIC—WHICH BANGS!!!!”
