Lerato Kganyago and Thami Ndlala expand their property portfolio with major acquisition
Lerato Kganyago and her husband, businessman Thami Ndlala, have made another bold move in the real estate sector by purchasing Sterland Mall in Arcadia, Pretoria.
The couple has since renamed the shopping center after Ndlala, further solidifying their growing presence in the property industry.
Originally opened in 2010, the mall underwent a significant R53 million refurbishments in 2012.
Now under new ownership, it joins a list of properties the couple has acquired as part of their investment strategy.
Despite facing personal and business challenges in 2024, Lerato recently revealed that they had managed to purchase multiple buildings, including an entire mall in Pretoria.
In addition to Sterland Mall, they also secured an apartment block within walking distance, expanding their footprint in the area.
This isn’t the first time the couple has made headlines for high-profile acquisitions.
In 2022, Thami gifted Lerato a luxury boutique hotel, 12 Hillel On Villa and Spa in Northcliff, Johannesburg.
While speculation arose over her ownership, Lerato later set the record straight, confirming that she was a co-owner of the 12 On Hillel property and the sole owner of Amour Restaurant.
Despite challenges and scrutiny, Lerato and Thami continue to build a business empire, cementing their status in the world of property investment.
