Pitch Black Afro says DJ Cleo didn’t pay him royalties for ‘Matofotofo’
Pitch Black Afro opens up about how his former manager DJ Cleo stole from him.
Rapper Pitch Black Afro, real name Thulani Ngcobo has returned to making music after his release from prison in August 2023.
He was served three years for killing his fiancée, Catherine Modisane.
Speaking about his former manager whose real name is Tlou Cleopas Monyepao, the rapper said he was not paid royalties for his big hit, Matofotofo.
“He ran off with my money, and we are not close,” he said.
Pitch Black Afro said he will not fight the DJ over the exploitation.
“I am not fighting; I just want God to handle the matter.”
Speaking to Zimoja, the rapper said: “I’m keeping my distance because I don’t like conflict. One day the truth will come out, and I just want to make peace with myself.”
Meanwhile, Pitch Black Afro said DJ Cleo never discovered him, as he was already known before he was managed by the DJ.
