Jub Jub heartbroken over deregistration of Cwecwe’s school, Bergview college

South African rapper Jub Jub breaks his silence on Cwecwe’s assault, a case that has shaken the internet for days.

The mother of the 7-year-old rape victim recently spoke out about the incident, which took place last year, and how the school where it happened was dismissive of the matter.

Rather than securing justice for Cwecwe, reports state that the young girl was expelled and forced to transfer to another school.

Online users, including celebrities like Somizi, have voiced their outrage, calling for justice.

On Wednesday, the Uyajola 9/9 host took to Instagram to share a letter confirming the deregistration of the school where Cwecwe was raped. He captioned the post, “This hurts!!!!” along with heartbreak emojis.

Jub Jub’s vague reaction sparked mixed opinions.

One follower commented: “Even if the principal wasn’t directly involved, someone committed this crime on the school premises. The principal’s response justified the school’s deregistration!”

Another user wrote: “I don’t understand why people are calling this hurtful. This is a great move by the Department. When the government delays action, we complain. But now that they’ve acted, we still complain?”

The user continued: “Regardless of who was responsible, the fact remains—this happened at the school, and its leadership failed to protect the children. The deregistration is justified.”

Another comment read: “Some of you are upset because the school is being shut down? The school is a crime scene and unsafe for children.”
