Dineo Ranaka slams people shaming women with multiple baby daddies

Radio and TV personality Dineo Ranaka is no stranger to controversy or candid conversations, and her recent interview on Podcast and Chill with MacG and Sol Phenduka was no exception.

When asked about her children and their fathers, the outspoken media star responded with her usual wit and honesty.

“I have so many baby daddies because I am very fertile — let’s start there,” she joked, setting a humorous tone before diving into the deeper reasoning behind her choices.

Ranaka, a proud mother of three, was asked about her decision to have children with different men. She made it clear that she doesn’t believe in staying in relationships that no longer serve her, even if children are involved.

“I don’t believe in hoarding human beings in my life. When your time has expired, on to the next,” she said confidently.

She explained that she won’t let a failed relationship slow her down or derail her personal goals, adding, “I am not going to slow down the plans I have for my life because things are not working out with one guy. There are plenty of men in this world.”

Her third child, who many fans didn’t even know she was expecting, came from her short-lived marriage to Klaas Phesha.

While her love life may have had its ups and downs, Dineo sees her children as triumphs born from those experiences.

In a bold analogy, she likened her children to awards earned from different radio stations: “If I have an award from YFM for radio and my relationship with them does not work out, I am not going to go to Metro FM and not try to get an award. My children are the award I got from failed relationships. They make my life okay.”

She also took aim at societal pressures and the stigma placed on women who have children with multiple partners.

“Society says your value has gone down, but guys, I have a line of men wanting to be with me. The value is up. The price has gone up,” she said, asserting her self-worth and dismissing negative narratives.
