Priddy Ugly hits back at people trolling his happy and growing family

on

South African rapper Priddy Ugly has taken a moment to reflect on the importance of strong family units, particularly within the Black community, following what appears to be backlash aimed at his expanding family.

In a strongly worded tweet, the rapper addressed the current societal climate, highlighting troubling trends such as declining birth rates, rising divorce statistics, and the erosion of the Black family structure.

Without naming anyone directly, his words seemed to respond to online criticism or mockery surrounding his personal life and growing family with his wife, choreographer Bontle Modiselle.

“In a time when global fertility and birth rates are declining, divorce rates are at an all-time high, and the Black family structure is disadvantaged and under threat,” he wrote.

“Seeing a young Black family grow and blossom, witnessing their relationship stand the test of time—especially in an era where many fail—should bring a little joy to your heart.”

Priddy Ugly concluded the message with a powerful reminder for those who may view such moments with bitterness or disdain: “If you can’t find beauty in that, look inward. God be with you.”

The couple, who recently announced they are expecting their second child, continue to receive love from many fans who admire their bond, creativity, and commitment to building a legacy.

Priddy’s message not only defended his family but also served as a call to celebrate and protect Black love and unity in a world that often fails to uplift it.
