Thuli P is back on ‘Generations’
Thuli Phongolo is stepping back into the spotlight as she returns to the popular soapie Generations: The Legacy, reprising her fan-favorite role as Namhla Diale.
Known for her sharp mind, ambition, and independence, Namhla’s character has always been layered; caught between the tough love of her mother Lucy Diale and the calculated grooming of her father Jack Mabaso.
While Lucy’s love has never been in doubt, their bond remains a constant emotional push-and-pull.
Jack, however, has always had plans for Namhla, envisioning her stepping into his shadowy world- a world she’s now more open to.
This time around, viewers will meet a transformed Namhla. No longer the awkward teen they once knew, she returns from her time abroad with a refined confidence, international experience, and a hunger for success.
The question now is: will Jack’s dangerous world offer the big life Namhla desires, or will it prove too much for her to handle?
“Returning to Generations: The Legacy feels like coming back home,” Thuli shared.
“I’m excited to reconnect with the cast, crew and fans and to bring new energy to my character’s journey.”
Fans can catch Thuli’s return from Friday, April 25. Meanwhile, the show will be saying goodbye to Six Nyamane, who plays Nozipho Cele-Moroka. Her final appearance airs on April 24.
