Naledi Aphiwe replaces stolen iPhone 16

Naledi Aphiwe has stirred social media drama after alleging her iPhone 16 was stolen by a celebrity at Sandton City during Big Zulu’s album listening session.

Sharing her story on TikTok, the singer explained that the phone went missing in the restroom during the event.

“I don’t clearly remember if I put it in my pocket or put it down while washing my hands. A celebrity entered the toilets and came next to me. I’m not sure if she took it out of my pocket or took it from where I placed it,” Naledi said in her video.

According to her, the woman she suspects didn’t return to the event afterward.

“When we tracked the phone it said seven minutes ago it was at Alexandra. We tried going there but at the police station they wanted too many things. That means I bought a celebrity an iPhone 16,” she added.

While Naledi didn’t name the celebrity directly, online speculation quickly pointed fingers at rapper Fifi Cooper.

In response, Fifi Cooper wasted no time clearing her name in a strongly worded video, labeling Naledi’s story false and attention-seeking.

“You’re a liar and you’re young. I don’t know how you feel knowing there’s no truth in everything you’re saying about me. I’m not your age,” said Fifi.

“Don’t drag my name in the mud because you want attention… Just because I was in the bathroom doesn’t mean I stole your phone.”

Fifi made it clear she never left the venue prematurely, insisting, “After I left the bathroom, I went back to the venue. I never left, by the way. I was one of the last people to leave.”

Another influencer, Seemah, was also brought into the rumor mill, but she responded by asking Naledi to be specific about the person she’s accusing.

“Naledi, tell us who stole your phone,” she said, urging transparency.
